Make a wish with a small coin

According to legend, if you throw a coin in the smallest stream in the garden and make a wish and that wish is heard, then small bubbles will appear on the surface. René Pechère comments that it's beneficial to use an old 25 centime coin with a hole in it for this purpose.

The remarkable trees in the garden

The formal garden, a harmonious blend of water and greenery, light and shade, extends over 25 hectares. It is maintained in a way that is faithful to the original design which dates from 1664.
